Growing up on a dairy farm in Southwest Wisconsin, two things were certain; there was always an abundance of love and butter in our home. 

My love of cooking and baking comes down a long generation line of farm women whose hands tended the cows, pigs, & chickens. They planted & nurtured the gardens, canning winter stores for the root cellar every fall. Hands kneaded enough dough to feed families and crews of men daily, but stayed gentle and true enough to turn a delicate meringue for a church dinner pie on Sunday.
